The interior decor is fine, with an eclectic mix of Highland art and memorabilia that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, especially enjoying Rowena's diverse and delicious options, tailored to dietary requests like gluten-free needs. David's engaging stories during communal dining fostered a sense of connection with other guests.

The accommodation wasvery comfy and tidy. David and Rowena's warm hospitality shone through during the communal breakfasts, complete with gluten-free options and good stories that created a friendly atmosphere.

Nothing to frown about!

The hotel was in an ideal location, very close to everything. Seafood restaurant Dolphin was located 5 minutes walk away.

Lovely old and neat place with amiable and good staff. Fab food served, delicious breakfast. Very well maintained building, comfortable location really close to the war memorial, a very nice restaurant, and the airport. Also, very close to the town centre. The hotel of choice in Nairn.

A lovely stay in Nairn 🌊

Big ups for the gorgeous garden view and a lekker brekkie with fresh fruit salad that hit the spot! David made brekkie a fun chillas, chatting away. And ja, that walk-in shower in my room was a dream after camping!

The stairs leading up to my room were proper steep, so just a heads up if you're packing for a bakkie service!

Everything was beautiful. David and Rowena were amazing hosts and gave great local tips. The room was thoughtfully designed with comfy amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and David's stories made it even better. I'd definitely return!

We had a lovely time soaking in the charm of our Superior King Suite, and Rowena's breakfast was something else, especially her fluffy pancakes! The peaceful garden area and cozy lounge provided the perfect spots to unwind after a day of exploring. The only downside was the low light in the room, which made reading a bit tricky, but it didn't really dampen our stay. 🌸

We loved the charming room with a great garden view, but the steep stairs were a bit of a trek, eh? Breakfast? Totally delicious with heaps of options!

Just an optimal selection for a whistle-stop in Nairn with great value for money. The chef made some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had.

The breakfasts were a true highlight, with Rowena's dishes leaving you energized for the day ahead. Although the location is convenient, returning at night was a bit tricky as it was completely dark outside, which could be improved for safety.

The entry lobby is a real standout, with a grand staircase and well-preserved period details that immediately draw you in. The garden view from our room added a nice touch, inviting you to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Finding the place can feel like a scavenger hunt, as the building lacks any clear markings that help identify it among similar structures. The steep and narrow staircase to the attic room was quite the workout and may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. The breakfast options were adequate but uninspired, with some dishes like overcooked eggs leaving a lot to be desired. The complete darkness outside made for a hazardous return after an evening out, as there are no exterior lights to guide the way.

The lighting in the room made it hard to read in bed, and the outside area left us in complete darkness on our return from dinner. Breakfast options, while adequate, lacked flair, with overcooked items that didn't meet expectations for the price we paid. I can say the view over the garden was pleasant and provided a tranquil escape .
